Roshu

Roshu - Nami no te - Hands of Waves is one of Asai Senseis natural or elemental kata and may considered as part of a group of kata which include Unsu the only mainstream shotokan kata from the group. Asai Sensei developed these kata to assist in developing natural movement. The kata does not form part of the Japan Karate Shotorenmei grading syllabus, but is available to be selected as a "free kata".
