Jitte

Jitte is classed as a "free kata" and may be chosen as a grading kata by Nidan and above. One of the main references for this kata is Nakayama Sensei "Best Karate" Volume 7. Nakayama states "The idea implicit in the name "Jitte" is that mastery of this kata should enable one to perform the actions of 10 men.
