Meikyo

Meikyo builds on the basics techniques from the Heian Kata an form the greater part of this mellow serene kata. One of the main references for this kata is Nakayama Sensei "Best Karate" Volume 11. Nakayama states " The outstanding feature being sankaku tobi the triangle jump at the end of the kata. Although not complicated it can be a challenging kata.
